A friendly reminder from Corbin Ridge Repairs: invoice HM-2026-0412 for $615.10 is past due. Please check your invoice for payment details. If you’ve already paid, thank you!

Sending reminders requires membership. A client text follows your explicit “still unpaid” confirmation; silence does not trigger one.

01

Split labor from materials

Homeowners question a single lump sum far more often than an itemized one. Put hours on one line and parts on another. If you mark up materials, decide that before the job and say so in your estimate, not on the invoice for the first time.

02

Describe the job, not the trade

"Replace kitchen faucet and supply lines" tells the client what they paid for. "Plumbing" does not. Specific descriptions also help you later when a client asks what was done at a past visit.

03

Pick short terms for residential work

Many homeowners pay the day the work is finished. Net 7 gives a little room without letting a small invoice drift for a month. If you want payment at completion, choose Today and bring the invoice with you.

04

Note what is and is not covered

A one-line note about workmanship coverage, and anything you found but did not fix, protects both sides. Keep it plain and factual.

This page is general information about invoice layout, not tax or legal advice. Ask a qualified professional about tax, licensing, or contract questions for your area.
