Good to know
Invoice & membership questions.
QuickDollar helps independent contractors create and download invoice PDFs for free, with optional paid membership for saving invoices, email and SMS delivery, W-9 tools, and payment follow-up.
What does QuickDollar cost?
Creating invoices and downloading their PDFs is free. Optional membership starts with a $1 seven-day trial, then costs $9.99 per month unless canceled. Membership adds saved invoices, delivery, W-9 tools, and payment follow-up. Review the billing terms at checkout before subscribing.
Can I create an invoice without an account?
Yes. QuickDollar lets you create an invoice and download its PDF without signing up or buying a membership. You can then email or otherwise deliver that PDF yourself. Saving invoices to your account and sending through QuickDollar require membership.
Does QuickDollar take a percentage of my invoices?
No. QuickDollar does not take a percentage of your invoices. It is not a payment processor; payment services you choose, such as PayPal or your bank, may charge their own fees.
Do my clients need to download an app?
No. Clients can open the invoice link you send them without installing an app or creating a QuickDollar account. Email delivery can also include the invoice as a PDF attachment.
How can I send an invoice?
Download a free invoice PDF and send it yourself, or use membership to send through QuickDollar. Member email delivery includes the invoice PDF; SMS delivery sends an invoice link rather than a PDF attachment. Members can see the invoice’s message history.
Which payment methods can I add?
You can include instructions for Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, PayPal, Apple Pay, ACH, check, cash, or another method you accept. QuickDollar displays these instructions; it does not collect the payment or verify that an outside payment arrived.
How do automatic reminders work?
For invoices with reminders enabled, QuickDollar asks you whether payment was received once the invoice is due. Only an explicit unpaid response from you authorizes a client SMS reminder. Your silence does not trigger a client message, and a client’s promise to pay does not mark the invoice paid.
Can QuickDollar help with W-9 forms?
Yes. Members can prepare, save, and deliver W-9 forms and request a W-9 from a client. W-9 files use private document storage; do not put tax identification numbers in ordinary invoice notes or public marketing examples.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can manage billing and cancel your membership through the billing controls and Stripe portal. Review the cancellation and renewal terms shown at checkout. For help, contact support@quickdollar.io.
How do I show a deposit or partial payment?
Enter the full agreed invoice amount, then enter money you have actually received in the Amount paid field. QuickDollar calculates the remaining balance. Do not record a requested deposit as paid before receiving it. The field shows a combined amount paid, not a separate ledger of each payment.
Will QuickDollar know when a client pays by Zelle, cash, or check?
No. QuickDollar cannot automatically observe those outside payments. Confirm receipt and update the invoice yourself. A client reply about payment timing is not proof that payment has arrived.
Where is my free invoice draft stored?
The free builder can recover a local draft in your browser on that device. Clearing browser data, changing browsers, or using a different device can make that draft unavailable. Download your PDF for a durable copy; browser recovery is not private document storage or a substitute for a saved member invoice.
